So I ask you: who are you hating and blaming? Please don't just read that last sentence, but ask yourself that question until you get your answer.
Are we unwittingly blinding ourselves from the truth by believing narratives purposely created to divide us? I'm just asking.
It's time to look deeper - much deeper - within ourselves and what we think we know.
- Who is humble enough to reevaluate their stance, for the sake of accuracy?
- Who is willing to THOROUGHLY assess the things being told, to see if they are actually factual?
- Who is daring enough to reconsider their long-held beliefs?
- Who is courageous enough to say, "I was wrong" no matter the discomfort and consequences?
The truth will indeed set us all free.
Yes, it's scary to imagine the possibility that we've been duped; that what we've believed to be true all our lives - the very things we've built our principles upon - may all be utter bullshit, but we've come here with enough light to find our way through all this.
And we will.
The only question lies in how turbulent the process. That of course, depends on each of us and our eagerness to open our eyes, hearts and minds so that we can effectively discern between those who truly have our (and our country's) best interest at heart, and those who - no matter how sweet and syrupy their words - never have and never will.
