Being here, right now, in this moment may be one of the most challenging, yet most liberating skills to master. Sometimes it seems like life just has its way with us - demanding our attention, overloading our senses, fatiguing us with obligations and deadlines. So how in-the-heck can we stay centered and consciously present? How do we remain in our power; in our peace; in this moment?
When we're not fully in attendance it's palpable because our minds will rave. Literally! Our thoughts will have a frenetic party in our heads pulling us in all kinds of wild directions, which can cause stress, anxiety and exhaustion.
Being present means being fully here. When we are here, we are conscious; flowing; melodic. Presence is the key to our peace of mind. It quiets the chatter, because all that stuff going on in our heads is just past stuff; projected future stuff, not NOW stuff!
Mastering the art of presence involves the practice of deep inbreathing. Often. This recalabrates our energy and helps us flow with, rather than against what is happening currently. Once we harness our rambling thoughts we realize that this very moment right now, is precisely where the powers at.
