There were so many roads I traveled in my life where I could have side-stepped so much drama had I only paid closer attention to the warning signs. Of course, it's always so much clearer looking back - hindsight being 20/20 and all.
Wouldn't it be cool if we could actually have that 20/20 vision NOW, rather than after the fact?
I'm pretty darn certain we all have an internal navigational system, call it instinct or guidance, which is constantly giving us indicators as to the best route to take. I know this because there were moments in my past where my intuition was screaming at me and I didn't listen, and on several occasions where that sixth sense actually saved my life.
The key to recognizing these signs while journeying is PRESENCE - being all the way in the moment. When we're fully engaged and aware, we'll notice warnings we might otherwise miss; we'll better understand what our soul is communicating to us and we'll be more apt to actually listen.
Presence puts us in touch with our senses. I like to look at 'presence' as a pre-sense, meaning that we're able to get a sense of things BEFORE they occur or BEFORE we take action. Paying attention to these cues can spare us so much grief and offer us an opportunity to switch gears if need be. Presence makes it easier to discern which way is the best way for us.
Are you in attendance?
Fully occupy the moments, baby!
You're so darn AMAZING!
