It's a good idea to regularly take stock of what we view as true and real. Believing something is quite different than knowing something. There is so much we think we know, but much of it is simply stuff we learned along the way; things others have told us, or taught us, or something we heard that we deemed accurate.
What if it wasn't?
If we don't logically question ourselves, we could be heading for real tragedy and not even realize it.
I say this not as a judgment because we've all been duped at some point or another; we've all believed in something or someone and found out later it was all donkey dung. My point is, if we don't take time for self-contemplation regarding what we think is real, then when the actual truth comes along, it will likely knock us right on our asses.
I can't express how consequential self-reflection is, especially right now. Those who do this inner-work on the regular, will be better armed and able to acclimate to change. And baby, change it is a happenin'. We're on unfamilar ground right now, let's find a little humility and stop pretending to know it all. It will make the journey a lot less chaotic.
