Spring Cleaning

Spring Cleaning

April 14, 2017

If it doesn't nourish your soul - let it go!

Do you ever find yourself hanging onto things well past their expiration date? It's usually pretty easy to toss out items we no longer need or that hold no real sentimental value, but what about our inner-world? Sometimes it needs a good dinging out too! Our beliefs are a biggy - ya know, all those old worn-out thoughts we took on ages ago as truths that now no longer serve us (or maybe NEVER did)?

Well, Springtime is a great time to not only cleanse our homes and detoxify our bodies, it's an opportune time to remove anything that we've allowed to block our freedom and weigh us down. It's a time to delete, get rid of, clear away, release, discard, eliminate, expel, detach, uproot, purge and shed. And I don't just mean decluttering - I mean DE-OWNING and keeping only those things that elevate us and boost our joy.

Spring Cleaning List:

  1. Toss old self-binding thoughts and sad stories of woe from the dusty attic of my mind.

  2. Open up (a few windows) and let the light in.

  3. Sweep out pain.

  4. Haul fears to the dump.

  5. Wipe away all the dusty beliefs that dull my shine.

  6. Incinerate damaging self-talk.

  7. Shred insecurity.

  8. Polish friendships.

  9. Air out my dreams.

  10. Unclog all drains to my HAPPY!

Spring is a time to redefine who we are, where we wish to go and what is most important to us now. It's an opportunity to improve on ourselves and dissolve all the layers of debris that mask who we really truly are.
