It's Not A Race

It's Not A Race

February 22, 2018

Have you ever noticed that whenever you're in a RUSH, more often than not you end up being late to wherever it is you're headed? Because when we're in fast-mode we usually drop things, forget something and get all befuddled, not to mention the occasional speeding ticket!

Then there's the whole competition-rivalry baloney, where we feel the endless PUSH to be better, greater, more advanced than someone else; where we, for some insatiable reason, feel the need to prove ourselves. What silly, ridiculous games we play sometimes!

I've discovered that rarely does anything of substantial value come from the rush. It's the slow, deliberate, conscious presence of our moments that enrich our lives the most. It's in such moments, that we're able to relax, breathe and be our unique and genuine selves.

So on this beeeeeautiful Sunday, let's slow down a bit, become more present and always remember those wise words spoken by the white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, "The hurrier I go, the behinder I get." 😉

Hope your day is AMAZING loves!
