This is sort of an addendum to my last blog post regarding our beliefs.
Whenever we read something, or listen to someone and decide the information is true, we aren't in knowing-ness, we're in believing-ness. What I mean is, unless we actually have a particular experience, we can only speculate. It is through our own personal happenings that we discover what is true for us.
The funny thing is, as we walk further down our road, we may decide that all those things we know to be true, aren't true for us any longer.
We shift. We change. We redefine. We grow.
Our biggest leaps of growth usually occur during our most challenging ordeals. Of course we don't enjoy these moments very much and will sometimes try anything in our power to avoid them, yet we can't read our way to wisdom, nor can we listen our way there, it is only through our experiences that we discover it.
