The other day someone told me that I'm a great teacher.
As much as I appreciate the sentiment, I have to say, I don't jell with the term 'teacher' anymore than I do 'leader.' And don't aspire to be either one.
I remember back in grade school, I ALWAYS got in trouble for talking and disturbing the class, so I guess you could say at best, I am still that girl who loves to talk, throw ideas around and perhaps occasionally disturb. 🤪
My point is, self-empowerment and self-awareness aren't about learning so much as remembering - remembering who we are - and that is a solo walk, for it is the journey into ourselves. That's where the answers are. And the cool thing is, beneath all the theories, techniques, concepts and ideologies we've been 'taught' - we've always known.
The most anyone can do is remind us to look.
I hope you'll look.
