Guidance Or Intrusion?

Guidance Or Intrusion?

January 28, 2016

Every moment of our lives have meaning and purpose, even if at times we have no frickin' clue what that is! But rest assured, if we find ourselves in chaos and confusion there is a shift getting ready to happen within us.

Now, as hard as it can be sometimes to watch someone we love struggle through these types of challenging moments, it is not our job to swoop in and save them from what we perceive as their demise. I am of course, in no way implying that we should not be of service to each other. I am speaking specifically about when there is such a degree of imbalance that it serves no one. We've got to understand the difference between guidance and intrusion.

Oftentimes our greatest, most life transforming messages are delivered via anguish, pain, conflict, sorrow and struggle. And it is usually during such times that we uncover our strength. No one can dig up our courage for us. We each must find our own way to our truth and power. And this is never dependent on anything outside us, for our power lies within.

So regardless of how good-intentioned we may be, by stepping into someone else's journey and attempting to 'make it all better,' we very well may be snatching the gift within these experiences right out of the other person's hands. What gift might that be? The gift of self-reliance and a sense of self-worth.

So I just want to re-emphasize the value of returning our focus back toward ourselves, remembering that THIS is where our work lies. And yes, yes, YES share your wisdom and shine as brightly and as far reaching as you can muster, but in so doing, allow others to decide for themselves if they want to bask in the rays.

Let's love and accept each other for who we are and where we're at. Because the truth is - NONE OF US IS RIGHT! We will never, EVER know what is best for someone else. Shoot, half the time we don't even know what's best for ourselves!

The greatest way we serve each other is by mastering our own lives; working through our own stuff. That's when we shine our brightest and create an impact on the world.
