If you're justifying why you need to keep something in your life, you may wanna rethink hanging onto it. Because anything that is in true alignment with your soul won't need any vindication.
Whenever we find ourselves saying things like, "I hate my job, but at least it has great benefits," or "Yeah, (s)he can be an ass, but it's better than being alone," we're simply conjuring up excuses as to why we're settling.
Ever notice how we rarely feel compelled to justify the things we really resonate with; the things we truly love and care about? That's because they're heartfelt and touch us at a deep level. Anything less means we're simply in our heads about it. This often equates to sacrificing a potentially fulfilling life for a mediocre one.
Ironically, when we decide to live authentically - meaning we're no longer willing to settle - our vibe naturally raises and in so doing, things seem to flow a bit more smoothly and efficiently for us.
So the choice boils down to this:
Forfeit your soul in order to have the things you don't even really want.
(or)
Forfeit the things you don't really want, so you can fully access your soul.
